Jasmine Jobson, a British actress, was born in Hayes, West London, on May 9, 1995.
Jobson made her acting debut in plays including Phoenix: A Girl on Fire and Wild Diamonds at the Hackney Down Studios in 2013.
Starting in 2014, Jobson acted in a variety of short films, such as Flea, A Generation of Vipers, and The King, before making her acting debut as Kia Hopkins in a single episode of Suspects (TV series).
She later appeared as Sally Watkins in cameo appearances in the TV series The Break, Five by Five, and Dark Heart before landing a lead role in the 2019 Netflix British murder drama Top Boy.

Jobson was born to a Jamaican father, Adrian Jobson, and an Irish mother, Maryam Egal, who is of Greek-Cypriot descent. She and her younger sister Keisha Jobson have the same parents.
After showcasing her singing skills at a very young age by impersonating television stars, Jobson’s mother enrolled her in “Paddington Arts,” a youth arts organization dedicated to encouraging skill and creativity among London’s young people. Here, Jobson honed her talents.
Jobson asked social services when she was a small child to remove her from her mother and place her in foster care. She then spent the following five years in West Drayton.
